1. Open a monitor or the form for a new monitor.
2. Enter the statement in What to monitor.
3. Select Test on past conversations.
4. Read the matches and the number of conversations checked.
5. Close the results.
6. If results differ from what you expect, change the text in What to monitor and test again.
7. Select Save to keep the monitor.

The test checks recent conversations and can stop after a few matches. It does not check your entire history.

Test results are a preview. They do not create saved alerts or send notifications.

If the test finds no matches, other conversations that it did not check can still match your monitor.
