Connect HubSpot
Review conversations from your HubSpot inbox for customer problems and requests. This includes conversations with Breeze agent replies.
Before you start
  • A Bubbling account with access to your project.
  • A HubSpot account with a conversations inbox and a Super Admin who can create a private app.
  • A private app access token with conversations.read permission, which allows access to inbox conversations.
Open BubblingHubSpot private app instructions
Get the access token
  1. In HubSpot, open Development > Legacy apps.
  2. Select Create legacy app, choose Private, and name the app Bubbling.
  3. On the Scopes tab, add conversations.read and create the app.
  4. On the Auth tab, select Show token, then Copy.
Connect your inbox
  1. In Bubbling, open Connect. If a source already exists, select New connection.
  2. Select HubSpot Service Hub.
  3. Paste the token into Private app access token and select Connect.
Check the import
  1. In Connect, check the import status and conversation count.
  2. Open Conversations and compare one transcript with its thread in the HubSpot conversations inbox.
Common problems
  • If you cannot access private apps, ask a HubSpot Super Admin to create the token.
  • If you see an access error, check the conversations.read permission and copy the token from the correct HubSpot account.
  • If the token was replaced, update Private app access token in the Bubbling connection and select Save.
  • If a CRM ticket is missing, check whether it has a thread in the conversations inbox. Bubbling imports those threads.
