Before you start
- A Bubbling account with access to your project.
- A Front company administrator who can create an API token.
- A token with Access resources enabled, Read permission, and access to the shared workspaces that hold your conversations.
Get the API token
- In Front, open Settings > Developers > API Tokens.
- Select Create API token and name it Bubbling.
- Enable Access resources and Read permission.
- Under Shared resources, select the workspaces that hold the inboxes you want to connect.
- Create the token, open its details, and copy its value.
Connect your inbox
- In Bubbling, open Connect. If a source already exists, select New connection.
- Select Front.
- Paste the token into API token and select Connect.
Check the import
- In Connect, check the import status and conversation count.
- Open Conversations and compare one transcript with the original in a Front shared inbox.
Common problems
- If an inbox is missing, check that the token has access to its shared workspace.
- If you see an access error, ask your Front administrator to check the token and its Read permission.
- If the token was replaced, update API token in the Bubbling connection and select Save.
